The excel has many columns and rows out which specific columns' data needs to be manuallu entered to the front end and den clicking on the save button enters the data to the DB. 3.There is no direct access to the DB. 4. I need to automate the process of loading as there are thousanda of rows in excel. Please Help. 5.The front end is redbook (if of any help...) Juvigy Posted May 23, 2012 Share Posted May 23, 2012 It should be possible. 1. Shellexecute() will start the "redbook" if it is local installation. IE UDF will help if it is online. 2. You can use Excel UDF to read the data from excel 3. ControlSend/ControlSet should help you set the data or IE UDF if it is online. Thats all - doesnt seem very complicated.
