Windows 98 versus 98 SE

Recommended Posts

Does anyone here know how to programmatically tell the difference between windows 98 first edition and second edition? I have looked at a couple of places, but I must not know the right way to search for it, because I came up empty.

Who else would I be?

the system macros section of the help file should have something you can use, probably a combination of @OSBuild and @OSVersion

@OSServicePack or @OSBuild might work.
