Loading test tool DLL's

AutoIt can load DLL's and make use of the functions therein right? So has anyone ever tried loading a DLL from a testing tool like WinRunner?

I don't know about winRunner but Quick Test Pro has a help file on how to automate launching QTP and starting tests. Of course it's written so you can use it in VBScript but you can modify it to work with AutoIT. I can only assume LoadRunner has the same.

If I can dig up some DLL's I'll give it a try. I would like to get WinRunner screen text recognition working in AutoIt...

I wrote an autoit script to setup LoadRunner Controller run-time scenarios at

It has logic to work at various screen resolution sizes (1024x768, 1280x1024, etc.)

But it's incomplete until I can figure out how to resolve the script's inability to recognize some pop-up dialogs.
