Hihi Guys, I am an absolute beginner and trying to install Tesseract (Screen OCR) UDF.

ITseems like we need to install it in @ProgramFilesDir & "\tesseract\tesseract.exe"

could anyone tell what exactly it that? I dont understand it?!

You should change "C:\Program Files\tesseract\tesseract.exe" to

@ProgramFilesDir & "\tesseract\tesseract.exe"

otherwise it won't work on localised versions of Windows

yellowpower,

The @ProgramFilesDir macro just returns the standard "Program Files" folder for your machine - x86/x64 machines do not use the same folder. Using the macro rather than a hard-coded folder just ensures that the UDF looks in the right folder. :)

So you just install Tesseract as normal and the macro will make sure the UDF looks in the correct place. ;)
