Does AutoIT provide a mechanism to record a basic script, analogous to WinRunner or QTP?

It would be helpful to create a shell of a basic script to get started, and see how AutoIT recognized various objects.

Thanks very much in advance,

Chris

Hi, SpeedMaster. In the install directory, you should find AU3Record under Extras. This will allow you to record certain functions.

Ahh, I see it, thanks! But it complains, looking for msvcr100.dll. Need to track that down.

Search the forum for msvcr100.dll. This has been discussed a number of times, a known issue with the Recorder.

This did it, thanks very much!
