changing the cursor-color in SciTe?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

does anyone know, if it is possible to change the cursor color in Scite?

Recently I still used TextPad and there i had my own color profile:

black background, bright text colors such as green, yellow, cyan...

cool and eye-friendly

So, in SciTe i changed the colors and it looks like my TextPad now.

But the cursor is still black. hard to see it (black cursor on black background)

Any ideas?

By the way:

operators are yellow. But it seems, that brackets and commas are operators as well.

is possible to make these charakters like keywords, for example?

Thanks for any help.

Andi

pseakins,

Very nearly a "decade necro" - congratulations!  Please do not do it again.

And as the OP has not been online for 5 years I doubt he is still concerned by this problem.

It's a bit sad. You asked this question 10 years ago and no one has been polite enough to answer you. Worse still, there still seems to be no solution to this issue.

Just asking your question would have sufficed. Load the full SciTE4AutoOt3 installer and run SciTEConfig. In there you can select different base scheme's and change it to hatever you fancy.
