Nu11Fish
I have been hard at work on my new program (It does 'auto backup and some other things) and I wanted to make it configure an email and send it to me with info on what files I've backed up successfully/next date to preform backup. I just now noticed that _INetSmtpMail doesn't exist >_<. So before I throw my pc in anger I am wondering if theres another way to send email without opening a client, and being able to sign in. Pretty much I am (was) designing the email part to send an email with another one of my gmail accounts *holds the @gmail and password* then it would send it. Is all hope lost? BrewManNH
What version of AutoIt are you using? Because 3.3.8.1 still has _INetSmtpMail in it. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. BrewManNH
That's because INetSmtpMail doesn't allow for that, it allows you to send an email without using a provider to do it. If you need to send an email through an email provider, gmail for example, you can't use that function.EDIT: I just realized your title states _InetSmtpMailCom, not _InetSmtpMail, if you need _INetSmtpMailCom, you can find the function The first post has that function in the code posted. If you need something that allows for attachments as well, you can use Edited November 21, 2012 by BrewManNH If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise.
