aleph01 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Noviceatthis, I believe it was Melba23 that pointed out to me some time ago that ShellExecute can also be used to open a program in a specific mode. For instance, InfoPath has a design mode. I was unable to open it in design mode with the Run command, but with ShellExecute I was. Here's how: $filename = InputBox ("File Name", "Please enter the InfoPath file path and name to be republished.", "", "", 635,125) ShellExecute ($filename, "", "", "design") WinWait ("(Design) Microsoft Office InfoPath") ;commands to work with the file in Design mode go here Using the Run command, I was simply opening the InfoPath form in normal mode when I needed to open it in Design mode in order to republish it.
