joseLB
Hi Anyone can help me on how to intercept any file deletion operation on an HD? I need to log any files deleted in a specific HD. I think this is something like antivírus intercepting writes, reads, etc. This could be done thru na API? At end, an AU3 script as a service or resident module that could be activated always a file deletion occurs? I´m completely lost on how to detect this! Thanks in advance Jose
Chance
you will need to use a driver to do something like that. There's a way to have your script be informed that a file was deleted using WMI, but not when it's about to be deleted so that you can manipulate the activity. Itt's a little more complicated than just writing up a script.

So, WMI (I´m new to WMI) is a solution?More specifically, what do you think I could do? Edited March 21, 2013 by joseLB
