am632
Hi, I'm putting together a script and its getting quite large. I was wondering if I could write my functions as individual scripts which I could then 'call' when I need them? How would I go about doing this please? This is purely to keep my project tidy and structured. Thanks
kylomas
am632, You can put any part of your script in a seperate file and use #include to add the code to your source at compile time. You then refer to functions as if they were inline in the code. Make sure that your includes are at the top of the script. kylomas Forum Rules Procedure for posting code "I like pigs. Moderators Melba23 Posted September 24, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 24, 2013 am632,You might also want to make use of the #region...#endregion directives in SciTE which allow you to fold sections of your script. I have a 4500+ line script which folds into 17 lines with no function more than 3 clicks away.
