Better way to include functions

I have several scripts running on different machines in the office. All common functions are in separate file that always included in the scripts.

Whenever I change/improve any common function I have to recompile all scripts and reinstall them. Is there any better way like somehow linking to common functions instead of include? This way I can add a simple script that pulls updated common functions into a station and no recompile/reinstall is needed.

Thanks in advance.

I have a script in the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\" folder on all workstations.  All this script does is call a script on the server.  That way I only have to edit one script that affects all workstations.

Not every station has rights to different scripts or need of use. So my solution would be shortcuts to server scripts but I still would have to recompile all the scripts.

Do you know how to start one script within another?

I have one solution but its very slow and probably not suitable to functions.
