DrDoug
I googled this next question, but found nothing. If I Control-Break a script a few times, multiple AutoIt icons will occasionally displayed in the system tray. Mousing over the icons with the mouse dismisses them -- all but the active running script icon if there's one running. <See screen clip> Is there any side effects produced by phantom scripts when the extra icons are in the tray, or are they just phantom images to be ignored? XP, Dell Inspiron 531, 3.5GB RAM, AutoIt 3.3.8.0. Thanks. DrDoug
BrewManNH
Just ignore them, force killing a script will cause it, but the script won't be still running. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
