Hi ,

Q1

Im filling a complecated form using autoIt. I can focus the typing to a required text box using ControlFocus ()

can I bring the mouse pointer on to the same focused controller to perform my next action.

( this form is full of custom controllers and {TAb} will not work.

Q2

is there a commend to move mouse from current position  ( Ex : move 10 pixels down  through Y axis from current possition )

Thanks in Advance

sudeepa,

Try ControlGetPos to get its coordinates followed by MouseMove to move the mouse to that position. :)

But there might be easier ways - what is this app that you are automating?

Hi thanks, it works with me  :shifty:

Local $test = ControlGetPos("","","WindowsForms10.EDIT.app.0.262c0e4_r13_ad131")
MouseMove($test[0],$test[1])

but in mouse moving this is the first part , exact thing I wanted, what i wanted to do is, after getting the mouse to the previous controller, from that position move mouse 10 pixels up through Y axis and make a click. do you have any clue how to do this

Im a tester in a software development company ,  and  we do all manual testing , for testing purposes i have to create several customers per day in Admin module. im trying to automate the general form fillings to make my life easier.

sudeepa,

move mouse 10 pixels up through Y axis

make a click

I would subtract 10 from the y coordinate ($test[1] - 10) and use MouseClick directly. :)

Could I recommend looking through the Help file for useful function before posting in future - it might save you a lot of time. ;)
