rotatorkuf Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) so, i've never had a problem moving and resizing windows until now this certain application won't let itself be resized by autoit it seems, it's resizable by normal means (with manual mouse resizing) i know winmove works on my other applications because it resizes them (notepad, chrome, firefox) have you guys ever experienced somethign like this? what would a program have that would seemingly block its window from being moved/resized by autoit fyi, every other autoitfunction seems to work on it (with and without admin privileges), so i can't figure this out for the life of me Edited January 14, 2014 by rotatorkuf

rotatorkuf Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 hello, it's a video game, i'm trying to set it up so that it resizes every time i start it up as windowed, the game doesn't have the built in option it's a seemingly normal executable file i hope this isn't relevant, only because i can't seem to understand how a program could block this specific winmove function and leave every other function working my mind is blown rotatorkuf, Welcome to the AutoIt forum. What exactly is this recalcitrant window? M23
Moderators Melba23 Posted January 14, 2014 Moderators Posted January 14, 2014 rotatorkuf,I feared as much - you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now (there is also a link at bottom right of each page) - particularly the bit about not discussing game interaction - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked. See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
