spatnynick
Hi all. I am new to AutoIt and trying to find whether it fit my requirements. By the way, very nice tool, thanks for it. I would like to use mainly HotKeySet function to assign commands to my keyboard. But I would like to have it working for more keys at one time.. e.g. HotkeySet("{NUMPAD0}" & "{NUMPAD1}", "_my_hook") HotkeySet("{NUMPAD0}" & "{NUMPAD2}", "_my_hook") Something like: if I press Numpad0, it should wait if I press next the second registered key. If I don't, I would like to send the Numpad0 to the standard input. I have searched a bit through this forum but did not find. Is this possible? The reason is that I would like to divide my keystrokes to some groups, e.g. {NUMPAD0} + other numpad = start developer tools {NUMPAD1} + other numpad = start basis tools ans so on. Shift, alt and ctrl is not enough Thx for any info Br Bohuslav
Moderators Melba23 Posted January 15, 2014 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2014 spatnynick,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. You might find _IsPressed a more suitable function to use than HotKeySet to detect multiple NumPad keys being pressed. Gianni
Hi spatnynick, Just yesterday I sketched an example on how to do something like that on a similar question. It's a script that should run in background and can fire an subroutine upon the interception of a sequence of keys. More than one sequence can be "waited" at same time. Until none of the setted sequences is received, the script remains on waiting. maybe not exactly what you are searching, but it can give an idea>Here is the post Chimp small minds discuss people average minds discuss events great minds discuss ideas.... and use AutoIt....
