AutID Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Hello, I have a string turned into an array with StringSplit. So lets say this "first;second;third;forth" $aArray[0] will return me the range of the array and then it will return me the rest starting from "first". I want to delete array[0] which is easy and then i want to mix the array so $aArray[1] won't return me "first" but it will return me random. One option i thought about is creating the array and randomly call the elements. It is good enough for me but in case someone knows a better solution then i would greatly appreciate it. I haven't yet tried something because i am at work. https://iblockify.wordpress.com/
Moderators Melba23 Posted April 22, 2014 Moderators Posted April 22, 2014 AutID,You can remove the count in the [0] element by using the $STR_NOCOUNT flag - the Help file explains this clearly. As to randomising the array order - if you use the latest Beta there is a new function _ArrayShuffle that does exactly that. If you wish I could post the code here for you to use in the current release.
