AoRaToS Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) Hello, I'm having an issue running the code below. What I want is for @ScriptFullPath to use AutoIt3ExecuteScript, run a file that is in @AppDataDir with the path having spaces and add a parameter at the end, it seems to work with @AutoitExe before compiling but when I use it compiled and change to @ScriptFullPath it gives me an error and part of the dir is missing: "C:UsersUsernameAppDataNew" Can someone help with the quotes? I seem to always mix them up :/ Run(@ScriptFullPath & ' /AutoIt3ExecuteScript "' & ' "' & @AppDataDir & "\New Folder\test.a3x" & " " & "param1", "",@SW_HIDE) Edited September 11, 2014 by AoRaToS s!mpL3 LAN Messenger Current version 2.9.9.1 [04/07/2019] s!mpL3 LAN Messenger.zip s!mpL3
Solution BrewManNH Posted September 11, 2014 Solution Posted September 11, 2014 Here's how I'd do it. ;~ Run(@ScriptFullPath & ' /AutoIt3ExecuteScript "' & ' "' & @AppDataDir & "\New Folder\test.a3x" & " " & "param1", "",@SW_HIDE) ConsoleWrite('"' & @ScriptFullPath & '" /AutoIt3ExecuteScript "' & @AppDataDir & '\New Folder\test.a3x" param1' & @CRLF) Once you see that the quotes are in the right place, change the ConsoleWrite to Run, and remove the "& @CRLF", and add in the rest of the run command needed. And also NEVER EVER use @SW_HIDE, or /c with @ComSpec, until you have the script running correctly, after you know the command works, THEN you can start hiding things. Otherwise you will never know why if's not working. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
