px03afk Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 I'm trying to use Redemption RDOSession. I have things working fine apart from the difficulty of accessing an item property 'To'. When I use the syntax $tiem.to I get an error: missing separator character before keyword. I've not been able to find anthing to tell me any different form of syntax or a way of defining the property name in any other way. Is there a way of being able to access a property which has a name the same as a keyword?
Solution BrewManNH Posted November 26, 2014 Solution Posted November 26, 2014 If you had searched the forum you would have found the answer to your question in about a dozen different threads. Download the latest beta version of Au3Check.exe and that will fix the issue. It's not a bug in AutoIt, just a bug in the syntax checker. BTW, you posted in the wrong forum, this should have been posted GH&S. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. px03afk Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 Apologies for a) not finding the answer - I tried many combinationsa of keywords and none of them gave me an answer and for the wrong forum - but as I was using this in the COM context I thought this was the appropriate forum. I have now downloaded the updated binary and can confirm it it working OK. I am somewhat surprised that I had to download this separately as I only just updated to the latest AutoIt a week ago. Anyhow thanks for the help
