apilgrim Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I should premise this thread by saying that I’ve never used Autoit before): We have a 2008 Terminal server environment with an older version of the FaxFinder client install. In the past I had to log into each terminal server, install the application, and then after each user logged in configure the FaxFinder client with the server IP and credentials. I would like to automate this process if possible. I am not opposed to uninstalling the application manually if I have to, but the pain is configuring the client under each user. Thank you
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted December 5, 2014 Moderators Posted December 5, 2014 Once more, what is the current version, and what version are you going to? Newer versions are usually MSI, so you can run a silent install of the FaxFinder MSI. But depending on the old version, there may not be an upgrade path. apilgrim Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) The newer version is: FaxFinder Fax Client version 3.0.1 The older version is : FaxFinder Fax Client version 2.0.5 My goal is to push the newer version out to the terminal servers already pre-configured.
