Champak Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Is there a way to slow down my internet speed, either with or without autoit? The computer I program on gets 100 down so the functions that require internet connection are instantaneous, the computer that I'm using is getting the internet through a mobile hotspot. I know I can use wait and sleep and other stuff, but I simply want to slow down the connection speed for what I'm doing right now if I can. Is it possible?
pcjunki Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 maybe go to your network connection properties and see if you can change the speed and duplex from auto negotiation to 10full duplex?
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted December 26, 2014 Moderators Posted December 26, 2014 Depending on your router, there may be some QoS options onboard. I know both Belkin and D-Link have these options. It allows you to give priority to some services, and in some cases to specific MAC addresses. "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind.
