topten Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I have a directory of files 1.txt-10.txt (from 1 to 10). When I list files with $aFileList = _FileListToArray(@DesktopDir&"\"&"clip", "*") I am getting the files in the following order: 1.txt 10.txt 2.txt 3.txt 4.txt 5.txt 6.txt 7.txt 8.txt 9.txt Why the 10.txt is on the second place? And how can it be corrected? Thanx in advance!
Moderators Melba23 Posted January 20, 2015 Moderators Posted January 20, 2015 topten,You need to sort the items numerically - at present you are sorting them as alphabetic strings. We discussed this at length in this recent thread.
