Is the best way to close a GUI, without having to structure the main loop of my program around facilitating this one function to do it like this:

up before and outside of program loop: $mainGUI = 0 to make it global.

Then in the GUI's code:

GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "closeGUI")

Then have a function:

func closeGUI()

GUIDelete($mainGUI)

EndFunc

square65,

That will work as long as you have set OnEvent mode for the script. Whether it is the "best way to close a GUI" is, of course, open to debate. ;)
