BSoft
I have an array of CheckBoxes and I want to store the state of these within a ListView. Not sure of the best way to do this but was thinking I might use a string that has a 0 or a 1 for each character position but cant work out how to index a string as an array with autoit.I wanted to end up with a string value that I can store in my ListView that looks like this the following 000000000000 representing a single character (0 or 1) for each of my 12 checkboxes.Any advice appreciated... Moderators Melba23 Posted July 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 26, 2015 BSoft,Use GUICtrlRead in a loop to get the state of the Checkboxes (beware - the return will NOT be 0/1) and once converted, concatenate the results into a single string.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
BSoft
OK that works now - again thank you. I was comparing the GUICtrlRead result with a 1 or a 0 rather than $GUI_CHECKED and GUI_UNCHECKED..
