SciteConfig crashes when i run it

hello and thanks much so a great product and great website.

i was a autohotkey user but i found the syntax to 'alien' to me.

then i found autoit and its basic like nature.

my problem is that when i run SciteConfig i get the following error and i am clueless how to fix it...

Error: Variable used without being declared.

You are getting this error because you seem to have used the zip file but haven't  copied all files from it into the saved structure.
I will fix the error from happening but that doesn't help you when the au3.properties file isn't found as that is one of the core files for SciTE to work with AutoIt3 files.

what i had tried to do was to install the portable version and i guess i messed that up.

so this time, for installed the software using the .exe setup files.

and it all works.
