Hey guys,

Im new to coding in auto it. what i need to do is do a print screen and save the file as jpg/gif/etc while the program is running. i need the current window to be to stay active and the saving of the jpg to be done silently. i know how to capture the screen, etc. but i dont understand how to save it to a file without opening up something and pasteing it... i know i cant use the filewrite stuff.

any ideas....?

You could automate paint but results are not reliable. The best I have seen is a plugin from LazyCat. It does require the latest beta of AutoIt here but it works well for me. A link is here and it has a example with it.
