xcaliber13
I run dual monitors. I have an AutoIt script that logins into a website. The script works great except that every once in awhile I forget to make sure that IE was opened last on my main monitor. When this happens my AutoIt script does not run because my mouseclicks are clicking on the main monitors. Is there anyway to make IE always open on my main monitor? My main monitor in system settings is monitor 2.Here is how I am opening IE$oIE = _IECreate ("https://mywebsite.com") Sleep (3000) $HWND = _IEPropertyGet($oIE, "hwnd") WinSetState($HWND, "", @SW_MAXIMIZE)Thank you
BrewManNH
Don't use mouseclicks to automate IE, that's what the IE udf is for. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. xcaliber13
Ok Guys I found a solutionI added the WinMove statement.$oIE = _IECreate (http://mywebsite.com) Sleep (3000) $HWND = _IEPropertyGet($oIE, "hwnd") WinMove($HWND, "", 0, 0, 400, 400) Sleep (2000) WinSetState($HWND, "", @SW_MAXIMIZE)Now no matter where IE was last opened and closed it will now get moved to the main monitor. May not be the best solution but it works. Edited October 14, 2015 by xcaliber13
