UAC elevation - RequireAdmin vs. pragma compile ExecLevel

technically speaking what's the difference between the following two:

1)

#RequireAdmin

2)

#pragma compile(ExecLevel, requireAdministrator)

obviously the second one works for "compiled" scripts, only.

but are there any other differences?
in the documentation those two are not even cross-linked in the "related" paragraph.

#RequireAdmin will re-shell the EXE when it isn't running at the right elevation level.
The #Pragma() statement will set the MANIFEST in the created EXE to the requested level which means the OS will handle the proper elevation at startup.
