I am new with Autoit , I downloaded it and verified vb script to launch Notepad (Send CTRL +A )and it worked find with Autoit on vb script but when use the code to launch Media Express and send CTRL +1 to open Log and Capture. It's not working .I used below code to send it . Please help me out if anyone did it before, Note,I am not getting any error.

Hi, @rrrppp, welcome to the forum. Are you doing any error checking in the VBS, as I don't see it spelled out here? How do you know you're successfully creating the two objects?

You could do it all in VBScript using SendKeys

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I doubt it would work differently, I believe they're using the same mechanism to send the keys.

It's just small script to open Media Express and press CTRL+1 key. I don't what is UAC and how to check that . Sorry ,I am new to this world.
