jimg Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I have an app that is running fine under Windows7 that consists of a small script that parses incoming USB data and draws some bar graphs. It uses CommMG's _CommSetport and _commgetline. I don't have the USB device right now, but if I move the script along with CommMG.au3 to Wine, will it work? Seems like CommMG.dll might be problematic? I'm not a real programmer, so try to explain it in small words...
computergroove Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Its possible but you should just try it and see. Some scripts work under wine and some dont. Get Scite to add a popup when you use a 3rd party UDF -> http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/docs/SciTE4AutoIt3/user-calltip-manager.html
