TheInfamousOne
Hello Jos. I did read the help file. This is what it says: WinWait ( "title" [, "text" [, timeout = 0]] ) I followed it by writing by the example provided in the help file. WinWait ( "Lync" [, "Make sure that your sign-in address, user name, and password are correct and try again."[0]] )WinClose( "Lync") Did I miss something? BrewManNH
The brackets "[" and "]" are there to show you that the parameters are optional, don't use them in the function. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. TheInfamousOne
Jos, WTF are you talking about? You did not comment on anything about bumping a thread. "Impatient? maybe start reading the helpfile how to properly code the function? jos Looks like the only one that is impatient is you. Yes, I've read the below help file. But the picking the CLASS did work, but I'm not confident if that CLASS # is going to be the same on every machine. It would have been nice to use the actual title name and text. As I mentioned, I'm a newbie. In my case, the CLASS looks like this. WinWait("[CLASS:#32770]", "Make sure that your sign-in address, user name, and password are correct and try again.", 0) WinClose( "Lync") Never mind, I don't want your help. Instead of handing out help, all you you hand out is complaints that make no sense.
