SQLite not working at all

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Maybe i miss something, but me and a friend are getting crazy already.

I have this supersimple code which works fine on my machine but NOT on my buddys machine.

What can be wrong? The sqlite3.dll is in the same folder as the .au3 file. Also the SQLite.au3 and SQLite.dll.au3 files are in the standard AutoIt folder on the C:\ drive.

Here is the code:

#include <SQLite.au3>
#include <SQLite.dll.au3>

_SQLite_Startup()

$DB = _SQLite_Open("C:\DB.db")
_SQLite_Exec($DB, "CREATE TABLE Test (Row1,Row2);")
_SQLite_Close()

What the heck is wrong here????

Thanks in advance!

PS: We also tryd to add the direct path to the .dll in the _SQLite_Startup() command without success.

AND we also tryd plenty of different versions if sqlite3.dll

The dll and the AutoIt script (compiled or not) must use the same format: either both x86 or both x64. Use _SQLite_Startup($path & "\sqlite3.dll") in both cases but the 32-bit dll must be named sqlite3.dll and the 64-bit dll must be named sqlite3_x64.dll, both in the path used (defaulting to script folder).

JESUS!!

You're the man!! Thank you! My gosh, how could we miss that.

The thing was that we tryd 32 and 64bit versions as well. BUT my SCITE runs on 32bit and my buddys on 64bit from the editor F5 Run.

When we started the script from the explorer in 32bit it immediatly worked.

Thanks!
