AshlandSG
I used this pragma: #pragma compile(Icon, \..\Icons\MyAutoIt3_Blue.ico) This pragma worked in older version but it doesn't in version 3.3.14.2. When I compile, the executable shows the Windows default icon instead of my selection. AutoIt version 3.3.14.2 installed as 32-bit on Windows Server 2012 R2 (64-bit). Anyone else having the same issue? Regards, John Babbitt Systems Administrator Ashland Support Group
InunoTaishou
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Icon= \..\Icons\MyAutoIt3_Blue.ico Should do it. Also, Ctrl+F7 or Tools -> Options (in Scite) should bring up the compile options. (in the full scite version)
BrewManNH
The leading backslash tells the program to start in the root of the drive you're in, then you tell it to go back up one more folder, which doesn't exist, then start looking in the icons folder in this non-existent folder. That's why it fails. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. AshlandSG
Even if I put in the full path, C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Icons\MyAutoIt3_Blue.ico, it fails. I verified that the path is correct via Run command. I also tried: #AutoIt3Wrapper_Icon= C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Icons\MyAutoIt3_Blue.ico And, no icon, either. Why didn't I get an alert e-mail when someone replied to my post, even though "Notify me of replies" is enabled?
BrewManNH
Do you have Scite4AutoIt3 installed? AutoIt3Wrapper directives require that to be installed. AshlandSG
No, I'm just using SciTE-Lite. So, the #pragma doesn't work anymore, and I must now use Scite4AutoIt3 with the wrapper instead?
Developers Jos Posted May 11, 2016 Developers Share Posted May 11, 2016 (edited) Should work fine for #pragma statements. Only #AutoIt3Wrapper directives require the full version. AshlandSG
Still isn't doing it. Oh, well.
AshlandSG
I found something odd. While the .exe displays the default Windows exe icon, if I right-click on it and select Properties, it does show the AutoIT icon. What's even more weird is that, if I rename the .exe to anything other than the default name, it displays the icon! Developers Jos Posted May 15, 2016 Developers Share Posted May 15, 2016 That likely has to do with a cached icon for that particular exe name. Try refreshing it. AshlandSG
Yeah, you must be right. Anyways, it appears the problem is non-existence. It's just my own icon cache. When I ran it on another account, I did see the correct icon. Thanks for the great support here.
