aiter Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I am not sure if I need to bother closing my open file handles, graphical handles etc before I exit a program. Does AutoIt close all open handles itself when the program exits or do I need to make sure they are closed before I exit?
Moderators Melba23 Posted July 25, 2016 Moderators Posted July 25, 2016 aiter, AutoIt does a pretty good job cleaning up after itself, but I would argue that it is good practice to do as much as you can in your own code. if nothing else, it will get you into good habits for when you move onto a less-forgiving language.
