Moderators Melba23 Posted August 7, 2016 Moderators Posted August 7, 2016 Winston, Thanks for that - I shall make the necessary changes tomorrow. However, in future, could you please us the "BugTracker" link in the menu above when reporting such things - it helps us keep track of the changes we make. winston Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 while I was debugging this, I was looking for a way to copy array.au3 to my source library and include it with #include "array.au3". This kinda worked but there were too many other imbedded includes for #include <array.au3> . the #include-once at the top does not seem to stop the include when it comes from a different path. I gave up and modified array.au3 in the program directry. Is this working as designed. I was hoping the include-once would stop multiple includes regardless of the path.
Moderators Melba23 Posted August 7, 2016 Moderators Posted August 7, 2016 winston, Quote the #include-once at the top does not seem to stop the include when it comes from a different path You are quite right - I had never tried to include the same file from a different path. Perhaps you might like to raise a Trac ticket so that it could be looked at during the next development period (whenever that will be) although I have no idea how hard it would be to implement. BrewManNH Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 I don't think that AutoIt would have any way to figure out that two files with the same name, but are in different paths are the same file as far as #include-once goes. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
