Sandor
Hi, AutoIt has the point with coordinates (0,0) in the left upper corner of the taskbar, if the taskbar is on the left side of the window. I think, this is a bug: The user don't want to check if the taskbar is on the left side. Example: GUICreate("GUI", 700, 1000, 10, 10) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) Sleep(10000) (Creating a window in the position (10,10), it will be behind the taskbar) For output see attachment. Moderators Melba23 Posted December 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 16, 2016 Sandor, First, welcome to the AutoIt forums. Quote I think, this is a bug: The user don't want to check if the taskbar is on the left side. The user might not, but as a coder you should. As far as Windows is concerned, the top left of the screen is 0,0 - so that is what AutoIt also uses as an origin. Lots of my UDFs (in particular Toast & Notify) have to check the location of the taskbar so they produce their GUIs in the correct place - why not take a look to see how they do it.
