Hello.

I'd like to place a window to a background position, and monitor, if parts of the "window image" changes.

_ScreenCapture_CaptureWnd() does not capture the content of the specified area of a given window, but what is "on the screen" in front of that window (Monitor content, not Window content).

  • Howto grab the graphical content of a window, that is covered by other windows on the screen?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Regards, Rudi.

You have to use the PrintWindow function in user32.dll. But the result looks a little bit different than the original window.
