Freeze screen

I have two guis that I want to show at the EXACT same time...because GUI2 is sort of like a mask for a portion of GUI1 in certain situations. Is there a way to freeze the screen as a whole until both guis are available? Sort of like @SW_LOCK for the whole screen?

Champak,

I would use GUISetState(@SW_HIDE, $hGUI_1) once the first GUI is completed and then, immediately after the second GUI appears, use GUISetState(@SW_SHOW, $hGUI_1) to make it reappear. That should get the appearances of the 2 GUIs pretty much simultaneous.

Both of the GUIs are actually created already. So my call looks like this:

GUISetState(@SW_SHOW, $GUI1)

GUISetState(@SW_SHOW, $GUI2)----this is on top of a portion of $GUI1

GUISetState(@SW_HIDE, $GUI3)

It's noticable the slight delay thats annoying in seeing 2 appear on top of 1. So your suggestion is basically what I have already. Thats why I'm looking for some type of lock function for the screen if that's possible.

....if I'm understanding your suggestion correctly.
