Alteros
There is this dropdown list with the 3 relevant pieces of code. How can I select one of the options?
Subz
You can try setting the $oInput.value to the string you want selected, unfortunately the code is non-functional so can't really test.
Danp2
Check the help file for _IEFormElementOptionSelect. Latest Webdriver UDF Release Webdriver Wiki FAQs
Subz
@Danp2 Don't think that would work as it's not a select element it's an input text tag which gets enumerated as a select option.
Danp2
@Subz That's certainly possible. I didn't really examine his code and based my reply more off of the topic. Only way to know for sure is if he provides a working example. Latest Webdriver UDF Release Webdriver Wiki FAQs
Alteros
First of all I really apreciate all the answers and thank for your time to help me. This a box with a dropdown arrow which when you press 3 choices appear. When you click on a a choice the page automatically loads a new page without the need to press any button. I can use _IEFormElementSetValue to enter the text of the choice I want but nothing happens to set the value and load the next page automatically. Any ideas towards that. PS. Unfortunately I can't provide a working example.
Juvigy
Most likely there is onchange or other events firing when you select one of the options. Do you have IE dev. tools or similar? You can check if there are any events on the element. If it only navigates to another page - use IENavigate to do it yourself !
