brad3260 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Hello everyone, I have a feeling this is not possible based on the searching I've been doing but figured I'd put it up on here to see if someone knows a secret. I'm creating a list via GUICtrlCreateList with the $LBS_EXTENDEDSEL flag. I've added enough items that there should be a vertical scrollbar but it's not showing. However, if I take away the $LBS_EXTENDEDSEL flag, the scrollbar is there. Anybody know how to get the scrollbar and have the ability to select multiple items?
Moderators Melba23 Posted March 16, 2017 Moderators Posted March 16, 2017 brad3260, I imagine you are simply creating your ListBox with just the $LBS_EXTENDEDSEL style - like this: $cList = GUICtrlCreateList("", 10, 10, 200, 100, $LBS_EXTENDEDSEL) By doing so you overwrite all the existing styles - which are $LBS_SORT, $WS_BORDER &, $WS_VSCROLL. You need to combine the styles so that they are all applied: $cList = GUICtrlCreateList("", 10, 10, 200, 100, BitOr($GUI_SS_DEFAULT_LIST, $LBS_EXTENDEDSEL) Now you will have both a scrollbar and the ability to select more than one item. Reading the Setting Styles tutorial in the Wiki will explain this in more detail.
