frew Posted December 28, 2017 Author Posted December 28, 2017 I see, I did not know that. New to these things . So I'll look at the security settings a little deeper, but initially it looks like "write" is checked in all cases (for the folder and file) but in terms of inheritance etc...I don't understand So I do not know how to fix the security settings really. Will I run into problems if I have the run as administrator set as mentioned above, for exe of AutoIt3, SciTE, and Tidy?
Developers Jos Posted December 28, 2017 Developers Posted December 28, 2017 Doubt whether it will give issues, it's just a nuance to get the prompt each time for tidy. To check what is wrong with the settings you just do a right mouse click on the c:\tmp directory and: Right-click on the folder and choose Sharing and Security... Click on the Security tab Click the Advanced button Take a snapshot of the page and send it to me here or PM in case you want to keep it private. That screen tells you exactly how owns the directory and which users/groups have what rights. I also need to know you current userid. Do the same for the actual script. frew Posted December 28, 2017 Author Posted December 28, 2017 Well, not sure if I did that right, but I think I sent you a zip of the screenshots. I went to your profile image, hovered mouse to see "message" and I think that's the PM thing you refer to.
