ndj Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 In my community there has been an outbreak of the winddows shortcut virus which is powered by autoit. Unfortunately the various antivirus programs that I've tried do not recognize the files as viral. Is there any way to prevent Autoit files from running on a specific computer as a preventive measure?
Developers Jos Posted December 28, 2017 Developers Posted December 28, 2017 An AutoIt3 compiled script is a stand-alone executable that runs autonomously, so no other option than to blacklist it in your AV or even better, avoid trying to run it in the first place.
