you need a spy tool, such as the built in AutoIt Info tool, or junkew's simplespy, or other professional based tools. user @jdelaney has, in his signature, an .AU3 file you can run and click on the app you care about and it captures ALL the control information it can see.

I plan on to adapting junkew's simplespy to do the same, it will be just a different way to use simplespy more or less to point once at an app and get all the elements you can manipulate using his IUIAutomation stuff.
