Hello all,

I'm writing this because I had a post locked. My question is about a rule which your website has. You are not allowed to get help with game automation.

My question is as follows:

I am the Creator and owner of the game, does this mean I still cannot get help pertaining to it?

I'm trying to write a script in autoit that can beat me in my own game. I completely understand if it is still not allowed but it can't hurt to ask.

Thanks in advance for your answer guys so far you have all been a huge help!

My interpretation (which admittedly doesn't mean much anything): :muttley:

Game automation is game automation, and according to the rules game automation topics are off limits.  As was seen earlier this week, game creation (in AutoIt) appears to be okay.  However, if that same person was attempting to create a script to automate the playing of the same game that was created in AutoIt, I would assume that would probably cross the line.  Think about it.  If your scenario was allowed, everyone would assert that they created the game they were trying to automate.  That would make the rule almost impossible to enforce.

It seem like pure logic to me.  But what do I know, I've only been programming for 30+ years.  Maybe my logic meter is old and faulty.  :muttley:

The rules should be clear: No game automation topics/discussions. There are no exceptions so can't be more clear than that.
