faustf Posted April 9, 2019 Share Posted April 9, 2019 hi guys i have a machine with windows 7 32bit with 2 account one administrator and second limitated user , ilimitated this user by gpedit policy , i want able to run only 3 exe file one of them is excel.exe i use this tute for do that https://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-configure-windows-to-run-only-specified-programs i insert in contents excel.exe , when i go in second profile limitated, and i run the autoit script and it call _excel_open ..... do something in excel sheet ...... _excel_Booksaveas the script work perfect but if i try after save to open excel saved tell me not have rights admin for do that , i try to see if excel open also another file when run excel, i use for do that a program dependency walker , i saw in admin profile when i cal excel.exe return me this dll excel.exe advapi32.dll gdi32.dll kernel32.dll ole32.dll oleaut32.dll user32.dll gfx.dll oart.dll mso.dll msvcr90.dll but also when i run in dependency walker , in limitated profile, anyone can help me , thankz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can do that by right clicking the files>properties>security tab, or using icacls. BrewManNH Posted April 10, 2019 Share Posted April 10, 2019 gpedit sets the rights for everyone on the computer, so if you block the exe for the limited rights user, you're blocking it for everyone that uses the computer.
