Oddity in launching website in Chrome

I have a script that CyberArk PSM uses to launch a website which works with the exception of 1 little bug, the site opens in 2 different tabs. The logon process will work 100% on the 2nd tab and we can close the first tab and nothing crashes. 

any suggestions or thoughts?

Did this work in PSM as a Universal Connector, once you fixed the script to open only one tab?
