It is easy to send keystroke to a particular window, using the Send() function.

Likewise, is it possible to capture the keystrokes sent to a particular window (via normal kyeboard) and have this information in the autoit script ?

  Sounds like you're asking if you can create a keylogger.  If so, you may want to check out #1 in the post below.

My goal is not to create a keylogger, but to duplicate keys across several instances of a program, which is a video game. so if I press E on the first window, I want to capture it as a variable in the script, to send it to the second window.

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked.

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
