KfirAsulin Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Hi, Is there a way to save from he clipboard any type of entity, i.e: Strings, pictures etc, so they can be pasted later on by the user's request (save them in an array)?
Moderators Melba23 Posted March 17, 2020 Moderators Posted March 17, 2020 Moved to the appropriate forum, as the Developer General Discussion forum very clearly states: Quote General development and scripting discussions. If it's super geeky and you don't know where to put it - it's probably here. Do not create AutoIt-related topics here, use the AutoIt General Help and Support or AutoIt Technical Discussion forums. seadoggie01 Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 I would start looking into the _Clipboard_* functions in Clipboard.au3 (see the help file) All my code provided is Public Domain... but it may not work. Use it, change it, break it, whatever you want. KfirAsulin Posted March 19, 2020 Author Posted March 19, 2020 From What I saw in the _Clipboard_* functions in Clipboard.au3, the functions can only get data from the clipboard if It is specifically defined what is the data type is, i.e: picure, text etc.. but most likely the user will not know what format is copied, in other words, I am looking for a general copy from the clipboard to save it to a local variable or structure.. 10x
