Deshanur Posted June 26, 2021 Share Posted June 26, 2021 (edited) Hello All, Am trying to auto fill user ID and password field, but sometimes the User field is pre populated and in that case the cursor will be in Password field. How to identify filed before injecting the credentials. Kindly help, its a thick client app and on that short-key or hot-key does not work. Sample window is attached as a screenshot. Learn the different spying tools to provide more details on your controls so you can get better help. I would assume certain keys in dialog box like: Home or ctrl+... will put you in a certain starting field (or activate button) and based on that you can send tab key to get into your required field. BigDaddyO Posted July 7, 2021 Share Posted July 7, 2021 The scratched out section of the window title in the Au3Info looks like it says \\Remote. If this is a published App then you won't be able to interact with the controls with any automation short of Image Recognition or blindly sending Keyboard commands.
