greenmachine
If you mean Au3info.exe, open it and click on another window. It tells all the information it can about the active window.

herewasplato
...window spy utility?...If your version of AutoIt still has a tool named that - you might want to upgrade to at least the "production" version or the beta version. It is now named "AutoIt Window Info" or the "AutoIt v3 Active Window Info" tool.Edit: http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/downloads.phphttp://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/files/beta/autoit/That said, you might also want to look in the help file, search tab... search for tutorial and read the one named "Tutorial - Notepad". It mentions a bit about how to use the "AutoIt Window Info" tool.Start > Programs > AutoIt v3 > AutoIt Window Info Edited January 28, 2006 by herewasplato ..
