Muhammad-Waleed-Sheikh Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Hi there all, I am writing a script to automate basic web authentication, and it starts writing the data into the input fields, but it does not click the enter button. Even though send ("{ENTER}") is not working but after many attempts what I also saw was that in my password the last character is "#" and what I noted is that this is also not being written in the field. So what I thought was that because the password is not correct, that is why it is not clicking enter... But any help would be great here as I am stuck for many days. WinWaitActive("","Authentication Required","10") WinFlash("", "Authentication Required",4,500) If WinExists("","Authentication Required") Then Send("adminsff") Send("{TAB}") Send("sffadmin&") Send("#") Send("{ENTER}") ElseIf WinExists("","Chrome Legacy Window")Then Send("adminsff") Send("{TAB}") Send("sffadmin&") Send("#") Send("{ENTER}") ElseIf WinExists("","Windows Security") Then Send("adminsff") Send("{TAB}") Send("sffadmin&") Send("#") Send("{ENTER}") EndIf In the above script firstly I was sending the "#" along with the password, but I thought maybe sending it separately would work, but it does not.

ioa747 Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 have you try {#} ? '#' The hash sends a Windows keystroke; therefore, Send("#r") would send Win+r which launches the Run() dialog box. I know that I know nothing
